Corniche Designer Clothes established in 1975 and leading in avant-garde fashion for Women and Men for over 50 years. A recipient of The UK Designer Store of the Year. Since the 1970s Corniche has been finding designers from all around the world. In the beginning we specialised in Japanese designers, bring the likes of Issey Miyake, Kansia Yamamoto, Michiko Koshino amongst others. Around the same time the British fashion scene was exploding with the likes of BodyMap, John Flett, Betty Jackson, Katharine Hamnett and Vivienne Westwood who all took their place on the rails at Corniche. Soon Comme des Garcons, Yohji Yamamoto, Jean Paul Gaultier were added. The list of designers who were showcased at Corniche is immense, Alexander McQueen, D&G, Montana, Rifat Ozbek, Ghost, Christian Lacroix amongst so many others.

These days we continue to show collections from around the world with the likes of Ziggy Chen from China, Chiahung Su from Taiwan, Barbara Bologna from Italy, David’s Road from Tbilisi Georgia, Klasica from Japan, Rundholz from Germany, Marc Point from Venice Italy, Nude:mm from Japan, Aleksandr Manamis from Copenhagen Denmark as well as continuing to show Vivienne Westwood etc.

The shop is based in Edinburgh and we have been active online since 2006. The shop is relaxed and very friendly, we even have a beautiful Spanish Podenco dog, called Jack, to welcome you.
